On January 14, 1997, Pinal Mt. was hit with a major snow storm. During the storm radio silence ensued from commercial and amateur repeaters on the mountain. A couple of days later when the road was plowed enough to allow access by 4 wheel drive vehicles with chains, site owners returned to the scene. Ingo, WA7KUM took these photos |
