On Friday the Thirteenth of July 2007 we began the final phase of constructing our microwave hub on Mt. Bigelow. The next two weeks would bring 10 years of work to completion. The last task to be done was to replace the hand-built audio interfaces and Palomar controller with a new SRS controller with integrated mux interfaces. We also upgraded the DRIL links to the new interface card and added a new DRIL link to Montana. The original interface wiring. The old DRIL card hanging by a ty-rap. The new punch blocks mounted and ready for wiring. W7HSG and N7LB planning the new layout. W7HSG and N6DGT start the wiring. N6DGT wires the punch blocks which provide the interface from the mux shelves to the controller.
